Gods Religion

Beginning with the 10 commandments, Gods religion is His instructions for worshipping Him. Gods First Fruits assemble together with Him and His Son on His Sabbath Day (Saturday) and His holy convocations throughout His calendar year as He commands His people to do forever in Leviticus 23. Gods religion is designed to reproduce His holy and righteous character and fruits of His holy spirit in His First Fruits who are applying and practicing it. To prevent a pagan character from developing in them over time, Gods First Fruits avoid mans religious traditions and customs, including false Christian religious standards like Christmas, Easter, Lent, Palm Sunday, Good Friday. Religion that is not Gods instructions for worshipping Him is false religion (pagan) and is not practiced by Gods First Fruits. Find one of Gods First Fruit assemblies near you using His assembly map tool.

Philadelphian Administrators

In the Laodicean era of time (after 1986), Philadelphian administrators coordinate and conduct learning programs during Gods commanded general congregational assemblies throughout His calendar year using the same truth Jesus Christ gave to Herbert W. Armstrong, preserved and available today in the archive projects at the bottom of this page.

Behavior

Gods First Fruits practice love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, and avoid profane language, lewd gestures, and inappropriate actions. Give patience, courtesy, humility, consideration, and understanding to others who are proving and learning Gods truth and growing in His grace and knowledge.

Physical Appearance

Gods First Fruits stopped practicing pagan customs and worldly traditions when they committed to Him at baptism and began practicing His lifestyle. Gods First Fruit men do not have long hair. His First Fruit women do not wear makeup. Study the following truth Christ gave to Herbert W. Armstrong about standards for physical appearance:

Dress Code

Practicing simplicity, humility, modesty, reverence, and respect to God, it is appropriate for men to wear suits and ties and for ladies to wear modest dresses while in general congregational assemblies with Him and Jesus Christ on His holy time throughout His calendar year.

Conversation

Practice communicating with Gods other First Fruits about Him, His spiritual things, and His principles of Christian living. Introduce yourself, share your application of Him, your background and history with Him, how He got your attention, and how He introduced Himself to you. Share His relationship with you with others. Become one of Gods likable First Fruit characters.

Encouragement

It can be hard to break bad habits and behave righteously. Ask God for His help, encouragement, faith, desire, and inspiration to love and appreciate Him, understand His doctrine, apply His principles to your personal practice, and follow Jesus Christs example of assembly, communication, association, and conduct. Learn from each other. Grow together. Love one another.
